An annual Apex meet was conducted on November 15, 2014. Trustees, Apex members, Corporates, Rotarians, members of Chamber of Commerce & Industry, RAAC & TASK, who have been a part of sacred journey of restoring the pristine natural glory of the Coimbatore region, were invited. The meeting was organized in order to express our gratitude and thankfulness to every person who made the journey a remarkable one and to discuss the way forward.
Project Director Thiru T Murugan, Panchayat Presidents and farmers from Madhvarayapuram Village were also invited. Detailed discussions about restoring of River Noyyal and its streams were part of the Apex meet.
Siruthuli has been conducting Stream study in the foot hills of the Western Ghats. Earlier 34 streams used to connect River Noyyal and at present only four streams were identified and studied. Siruthuli is in the process of identifying other streams and bring life back to the existing streams, resulting River Noyyal to over flow. The District project Director Mr. T. Murugan promised all possible support.
