Dr. Nandini is the Managing Director of the Chandra Group of Companies managing diverse businesses including textiles and automotive. As the Chairperson of the GRG Educational Institutions, she chairs 10 centres of academic excellence, from primary and secondary schooling to doctoral programmes. Dr Nandini has actively contributed to the Nilgiris Biosphere National Park (NBNP) and has been engaged in giving back to the society through various initiatives such as women empowerment, tribal development, Indian Red Cross, Project DEAF, Community care centres, disabled school among others. She is serving as Deputy Chairperson of CII( Confederation of Indian Industries) and held various posts. She serves on the Board of various notable organisations and has been the recipient of multiple awards such as Pinnacle of Excellence and Pannmugha Thirumagal awards.
