KCW – Krishnammal College for Women Vanam
Project Details
At PSGR Krishnammal College for Women, over 2,000 students came together, without corporate sponsorship, to personally contribute towards planting saplings. What followed was not just a plantation drive, but a deeply meaningful, student-owned movement for ecological stewardship.
With Siruthuli’s guidance, an unused 2.5-acre stretch of land was transformed into a thriving green space, nurtured by young hands and sustained by collective care. Kendriya Vidyalaya Vanam is a pioneering student-driven conservation model that proves young citizens can lead meaningful ecological change. Through this initiative, the students have planted not only trees, but a vision, where every sapling nurtures both the earth and the environmental consciousness of future generations.
