Water security begins with the choices we make every day.
Launched on World Water Day, 22 March 2024, Thuli Thuliyai Siruthuliyai was a 75-day awareness campaign focused on encouraging the wise and responsible use of water across different sections of society.
Over the course of the campaign, 16 awareness sessions reached more than 2,000 participants, bringing conversations on water conservation into institutions and communities.
The campaign concluded on 13 June 2024, alongside Siruthuli’s 21st anniversary celebrations at Hindusthan College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore. The event brought together government representatives, educational institutions, NGOs, farmers’ associations, volunteers and members of the public to reflect on the importance of collective action for water security. The occasion also saw the exchange of MoUs with professional and real-estate bodies to promote rainwater harvesting in the construction sector.
